The

nationally recognized artist Gary Giuffre was commissioned by the
National Republican Committee to create a portrait in graphite
pencil of President Ronald Reagan. President and Mrs. Reagan liked
the rendering so much they made it a permanent part of the Ronald
Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California.
From the famous Reagan smile to the well-worn cowboy hat, this fine

Texas artist
Gary Giuffre is nationally recognized for his incredibly life-like
graphite pencil portraits of famous personalities. "Reagan Country"
has a prominent place among his large portfolio of impressive work.
Giuffre studied art at the University of Houston where he received
his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1972. He has produced
illustrations for television and for national organizations. His
ability to depict in hand drawings the exceptional qualities of an
image led NASA to tap Giuffre to portray future spacecraft and
equipment.
