Emergency & Trauma Services Leadership
New Hampshire
This resort community, with a population of approximately 2,000, is
situated against a backdrop of over 700,000 acres of protected White
Mountain National Forest and boasts the tallest peak in the East - Mount
Washington.
This is a 35-bed, not-for-profit, critical access hospital offering a
wide range of specialized services including cardiac care, a family
birthing center, intensive care, emergency medicine and trauma care,
orthopedics, oncology, radiology, rehabilitation, surgical services,
diabetes care and management, laboratory services, and nutritional
counseling.
- This nursing leadership position will have responsibility for
the 10-bay emergency department, featuring dedicated trauma, cardiac,
orthopedic, and private/isolation rooms.
- This position reports to the CNO and oversees approximately 17
FTEs. Recently remodeled, this department is well equipped to handle
the case mix and seasonal volumes typical of a resort community.
Qualifications
- Registered nurses with three to five years of progressive
leadership experience in emergency room nursing.
- The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with exceptional
communication skills, as well as proven physician and staff relationship
management skills.
- Individuals who are technically competent, committed to
advancing nursing practice, and have a strong customer service focus
will be successful candidates.
- Bachelor's degree and CEN certification are required; additional
years of experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
